I just got a call from Bob one of the guys I work with and he has spoken to Corey.  That god he is ok and only suffered a broken wrist.  Apart from being really really sore all he suffered was a broken wrist.  That was extremely lucky as he fell between 30-40 ft.  I am amazed right now that he just broke his wrist.  He was very very lucky not to have broken his neck or his legs after a fall that far.  I hope he has a full recovery.  My guess is that he will be back at work after 2-3 months.   Either way it was a very stressful day since I saw him disappear from in front of me.   I hope I do not have nightmares tonight about him falling.  But I am just happy that he is not badly injured.

Let me say Wow.  At work today we had to clear the snow off the canopy because it might collapse and hurt someone and/or wreck something.  I was on tech roof and so were a lot of other people when Corey slipped and fell through the canopy and on to the deck below -  off the deck and on to the scaffold - and then off the scaffold and on the deck below them.  So all in all he fell 30 feet.  One second he was there and the next he was gone.  As of right now he is still in the hospital and we do not know what kind of injuries he has sustained.   It looked really bad and painful.  We are hoping he is not hurt too much and does not have any spinal injuries.  I hope to hear from someone later tonight to see what is wrong with him.   My thoughts and prayers are with him tonight.

Let me tell you that I honestly do not want to be a carpenter the rest of my life. A few months ago I got the chance to drive and use some Heavy Equipment. Yes Yes and Yes there was lots of snow today for us here in Vancouver.  No a days with global warming we here in Vancouver do not get as much snow as we used to.  However this year is awe just got a lot more then want we have been used to.  We  received 15-20 cm in the past 24 hours which has closed many school around the Vancouver area.  It was fun to work in it today.  However the sad part is that I am sure it will not last as the forecast is for maybe up to another 5 cm tonight but it is supposed to warm up tomorrow or tonight and turn back to the dreaded rain.  It was fun while it lasted no doubt and I do hope it will come back again this year.  I wish we get a good solid week of snow and have over 3 feet of it on the ground. That would be sweet, like the good old days.

Yes more items for me to install tonight.  During the day today I recieved many calls from Jeanine which involved telling me she just brought this and then this and this for our apartment.  So now I have to go to the Condo after dinner and put together some lamps, chairs, and some bed sheets and pillows.  Yes it is all exciting and means that it is ever so close for me to be moving in.  Soon I will be blogging from my new place.  This is exciting and dam scary, at least she got a new and better chair for the computer.  So that I will be able to Blog in style.

Today I have spent most of the day moving more and more into the apartment. I went and got the bolts to connect the head set to the bed frame. It was fairly easy but was very time consuming. I also took Back Jeanine’s bed frame to her place and set it back up for her. Things are rough again for us which hurts me a lot. I hope things improve soon or I fear the wedding will be called off. I am finding it hard to get excited about the wedding because of how things are. I also find it hard to go though my life now happy with how everything is. I do hope that things will get better soon. This is hard enough as it is I fear the worst for me if things get worse between Jeanine and I. God Bless Us.
